Entering
its fifth year of publication, the Purdue Data
Digest has further
grown in scope and content. Establishing itself from the beginning
as the principal data source for the West Lafayette campus, the
Digest is now recognized as an integral data resource for information
about all Purdue campuses. Administrators and faculty at all levels
of the University can utilize the data online, in CD-ROM, and in bound editions regularly
and with confidence for their decision-making needs.
In this edition of the Data
Digest we are excited
to add information on the ongoing development of Discovery Park.
This endeavor of growing interdisciplinary programs and state-of-the-art
facilities is accelerating Purdue's tradition of excellence in
discovery and innovation toward preeminence.
This fifth edition of the Data
Digest also illustrates
the progress made toward our Strategic Plan goals of Learning,
Discovery, and Engagement. In the midst of our fourth year of
the Strategic Plan's implementation, Purdue's
achievements follow our theme and show that It's Happening
Here.
