The Purdue Research Park provides an interactive environment for experienced Purdue University researchers and private high-tech business/industry. Any technology-based company that wants to form strong ties to Purdue may be considered for park tenancy. Start-up ventures may lease space in the park's business incubation complex, which is designed to nurture new companies through their initial stages. Established companies may opt to build their own facilities in the park and satellite offices of larger firms may take advantage of the cost-effective, incentive-bundled alternatives offered by the park.

The high-tech incubation complex assists start-up companies as they develop. It offers a shared-office concept, flexible leases, and attractive rental rates. The three different incubator facilities, the Purdue Technology Center, the Business and Technology Center, and the Hentschel Center, offer a supportive environment of equipment, services, and resources.

Over one million square feet of office space is located within a serene setting of nature-oriented landscaping, including a lake and walking trails. The 40 buildings in the park are located less than two miles from Purdue's main campus. The park is comprised of 591 acres that have been divided into three development phases. Phase I contains 88 acres that have been fully developed, Phase II contains 125 acres that are approximately 45% currently developed, and Phase III encompasses 377 acres for future development.
