| Dear
Friends of CFS, |
|
More than 300 students will graduate
this month with degrees from the College of Consumer and
Family Sciences. While their life as a college student is
ending, their role as a professional in the consumer and
family sciences is just beginning. So is their role as a
CFS alumnus.
These new graduates
will join approximately 22,000 other CFS alumni who are
a vital force in the life of our college. Each year, we
honor several alumni for outstanding contributions to their
profession, their community, and their college. The 2005
Alumni Award recipients have made a significant and positive
impact in the areas of nutrition, health and wellness, work-life,
tourism, and academia. Please join me in congratulating
this year's award winners:

CFS Unveils New Logo
|
Last November,
CFS was renamed the College of Consumer and Family Sciences
to better reflect the comprehensive, multidisciplinary range
of academic programs offered. With the new name came the
need for a new look. After focus groups with alumni, students,
and faculty/staff, a new logo for the college was created
(at right).
