It wouldn’t be summer at Purdue without Call Center
Campus, the annual conference geared for call center management
professionals sponsored by the Center
for Customer Driven Quality. Each summer, hundreds of call center professionals
gather on the West Lafayette campus to learn about the
latest industry trends and how they can turn their company’s
contact center into a marketing tool.
This is a huge business … there are an estimated
60,000 call centers in the United States alone that take
30 billion calls per year. If these customer service contacts
can be managed in such a way as to provide a positive experience
for the customer, then the company gains a satisfied customer
who is more loyal, will make more purchases, and will make
positive recommendations to family and friends.
The 11th Annual Call Center Campus will be July 10–13
and features more than 20 industry experts covering emerging
technologies for meeting customer demand and increasing
buyer satisfaction. I’m excited that our college,
through the Center for Customer Driven Quality, can be
part of a conference that is widely regarded in the industry
as one of the best.
