CFS e-News, March 2007
From the Dean

Many of you will be visiting campus next month for our annual Felker Series, CFS Awards Dinner, or one of the many other events held during Gala Week and Spring Fest. I want to take a few minutes to introduce someone who will be a familiar face at alumni events, our new alumni relations director, Wendi Hutchinson (soon to change to Wendi Ailor after her March 31 wedding).

Wendi HutchinsonWendi joined the college in January and is looking forward to meeting and talking with our many alumni. She will be directly involved in planning CFS alumni events, such as Boiler Mixers, the awards program, and Homecoming, and I know she would welcome your input. She will be working closely with the CFS Alumni Board as well as the CFS Student Ambassador program.

Wendi comes to us from Manchester College where she was director of church relations for more than seven years. She has a wealth of experience in building and strengthening relationships between Manchester and its constituents, including alumni and students.

Please join me in welcoming Wendi to CFS, and I hope many of you will have the opportunity to meet her personally when you return to campus in April.

Hail Purdue!
Dennis Savaiano
