Launch Meeting

After your job is accepted, a member of the creative team will contact you to schedule a launch meeting. The meeting’s purpose is to clearly define the scope of the project and each team member’s role.

Discussion topics will include many of the same items you discussed with the production manager when you call to initiated your project. Topics will include:

  • The project’s purpose and target audience
  • Themes and creative elements (colors, graphic content, size, etc.)
  • Copy submission and deadlines
  • Budget
  • Project delivery deadline and delivery instructions
  • Distribution/mailing
  • Your role as a member of the product development team
  • The service you can expect and will receive from your PMC team members
  • Copy deadlines and preparation guidelines
  • Photo requirements
  • If the product is a Web site, who will maintain the site and on whose server will the site be housed?
